Indeed, want the game to run smoothly on the X1, buy an SSD instead of the stock HDD installed in the console, would be a first for a console to require hardware updates to run a game smoothly (which otherwise runs, not including obvious stuff like eyetoy/ kinect required for games, since things need to be put in clear black and white to not garner a counter thread here).
