Yep. Add in 2 of the 3 major systems also were stock optical storage so games were able to add lots of FMV, CD audio, and not be creatively hindered by what they could fit on a rom (the rest of the hardware limitations notwithstanding).

It didn't sell enough to be indicative of the entire gen leap, but if OG Xbox was representative of Gen6 overall, I would go with Gen6. That was a rather huge graphical leap combined with stock HDD and network support. Gen6 timing is so weird though, Dreamcast came super early and didn't last, PS2 came midway through and was midrange in power but captured the mass market, then OG Xbox came super late but had gobs of power by comparison.

But no, comparing SuperNES to N64, Genesis/etc to Saturn, and the appearance of the first PS console, I think leap 4 to 5 has to take it in a landslide.
