The majority of consoles out there also can't run games at the current settings of a PS4. ;)
Going by the Steam statistics there should be around 25 - 30 million gaming PCs (with graphic cards like GTX 670 + 760 + Radeon HD 7900-series + R9-series) which can run games at the current settings of a PS4, so it's in the same ballpark as the sold PS4 units.

As far as current gen consoles go, the majority if those happen to be a ps4. And as for PCs? 25-30M. sounds comparable to the PS4 no doubt. But if you want to put that number into perspective, that's 25-30M of how many million PCs?

So why counting only current gen consoles instead of all active consoles? Cherrypicking?
