This is basically the path taken by the person playing XCX, compared to the relatively straight end to end run on Skyrim, "Doing the math" means nothing if you are comparing a fairly straight A-to-B run to a "lets take every alternate route there is and run across every section of land and not just one end of map to the other".
And, again, since XCX does not put any enemies in the open sea, it's wasted area with nothing to actually do in it, the landmass itself is where the gameplay occurs and it isn't anywhere near as big as theyre trying to make out.
If people are going to persist with continuing to spout this BS, I'll do a direct comparison between a Doll going top to bottom of XCX on water only, to GTAV speedboat top to bottom on water only, both direct line, both essentially the same speed, The OP's video would have you believe that it will take 2 to 3 times longer in XCX, how many people are willing to put their money where their mouth is on that?
