Look, I really don't want to stick a dagger into X which I'm really looking forward, but people are making me have to do that. Have you seen the graphics in X? They're poor - particularly in exactly the two things you mentioned - details and texture work. Some of the scenery looks fantastic from afar, but get close and the details and textures really show the game up (not to mention the character models). If Zelda Wii U delivers graphics of the quality that we've seen until now, it will have objectively better graphics than X - and it probably took them the same effort to get a great-looking cel-shaded game as compared to Monolith's meh-looking realistic game.
There's nothing ambitious about X's graphics, whereas Zelda's graphics are definitely ambitious - I've yet to see a dynamic game like Zelda go for an art style like that.
