The Wii's early game lineup absoultely blows the Wii U's out of the water. You could argue that there were better games made for the Wii within it's first 12 months than there have been for the Wii U so far.

Largely because the Wii's first year was considerably fattened by games cherry picked from the GameCube like Super Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, and Twlight Princess. Remove those and it's not so far above the Wii U, also factoring in the Wii is basically just a recycled GameCube chip so they didn't have to adjust to a new generation of hardware either. 

Pikmin 3 was a Wii game and TWWHD is only a remaster. New Super Mario Bros U and DKCTF are 2D sequels of Wii games. So no, Wii is still way above Wii U with SMG and MP3 Corruption.

Not really. SM3DW and Pikmin 3 are basically equivalent releases in the first year to those two. And if you're going to argue Pikmin was a Wii game, then we need to argue how MP3 was basically a GCN game with Wii's wiggle controls added in.
