It says something like this: Even though Soren was a master tactician, he never used his abilites for other than Ike This could just mean that he never used them again, but it seems like it is sort of hinting at a sequel. A problem with that would be that Ike is way too good, he would just smash all the guys over there. So it would have to be 1. Some magic potion or something nerfs him back to Mercenary lv 1, same happens to Soren or 2. Ike enters at the end of the game, while we fight with someone else over there first. |
Or it could mean that he was always at Ike's side aiding him in battle and not working for other countries/generals like he did during Radiant Dawn.
Also, if you've played some of the past Fire Emblems, you know that Lords are generally really good to the point of being some of, if not the, best units on the field. Ike is no exception. He should be awesome and he is. Of course, you can't abuse his strength too much or everyone else becomes under-leveled.
