He knows that by being over the top, he will get noticed. People love to see other people rant and get angry, hence the name Angry Joe. I don't believe he gets bribed but I do believe that he often plays on the negatives simply because it gets hits and gets people talking(as evidenced in this very thread). You don't see 220 replies to an IGN/Gamespot review even when it is low.
