No one is saying its average. But the op wants to decide between it and Halo 5

I've seen it said a few times, even in this very thread. I just wonder why. The only thing I can think of why people do not like it is because it has a more weighty feel compared to most FPS games, but that doesn't make the gameplay average. The main problem with Shadow Fall is the single player lacking soul.
