It's hard to say...
Historically Nintendo has been better at supporting handheld consoles late in their life than at supporting home consoles...
Just look at the DS...
After the release of the 3DS we saw a Kirby game, Pokemon Black/White, Black/White 2, and Pokemon Conquest...
While not immense support, those are definitely high profile releases...
Though it would be foolish of me not to consider the factor hardware sales played in that support...
