It's been a while since I played something on my 3DS, even Pokémon Shuffle, the game that kept me entrateined instead of complaining about the lack of Pokémon Z is now getting boring. So today I decided to download the Demo for TLOZ: Triforce Heroes.
I'm not that huge of a fan for multiplayer games neither the Triforce Heroes Gameplay looked particularly interesting but since I heard that playing the levels in singleplayer need a lot of coorination since one person has to do the work of three I thought it would have been a challenging experience but then I discovered that you can't play the Demo levels by yourself and you are forced to play with someone else, not that big of a deal, I go to the old man and I chose online since after changing my 3DS I've deleted the friend list and guess what ? you can only play the Demo during specific time slots that aren't told by the demo, instead you need to go the Nintendo Website and check them by yourself.
Now I'd like to open a separate discussion, Triforce Heroes is a game made to appeal to a younger audience, so what's the point of having three out of the four days of Demo beeing Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:59 when most kids are at School/have lunch ? wouldn't it be better to make every day like let's say from 15:00 to 21:00 so that you cover most of the freetime of both kids and older players ?
Now let's get back to the Demo, this Demo has 3 modes: Wireless, Online and Download, now Wireless to me sounds like the most stupid of all, considering the time slots there's no possible way someone can meet to play the game unless they have lunch together that imho is kinda stretched if we still think about the kids...
Now I already spoke about the Online mode but there's more ! the Demo as I said before gives you the possibility to chose between unknown players and Friends, isn't it cool ? well it would if it wasn't that you can't chose Friends in the Demo, they left there the option for some random reason so you either play with someone random or you have to meet up with someone else unless...
The Download mode, the last light of hope, and of course, it didn't delivered, basically you can't play in download mode the Demo, unless you're playing in local with someone that HAS BOUGHT THE FULL GAME, so instead of making a group of friends the life easier since only one of them could have downloaded the Demo in the first place and then the other two would have played via downlad mode skipping the download of the full demo from the E-shop you need someone that has already bought the game, and that probably will be able to play only the Demo levels with you since YOU, the person that has interest in Triforce Heroes, are playing on the Demo version...
Nintendo, get your Demos together...
