Miyamotoo on 30 October 2015

Any other outcome will surely be disastrous in terms of that game turning a profit and moving hardware, because no one is going to want to buy the obsolete Wii U by the time Zelda comes out. 3) Speak for yourself on this one. New Leaf released in the West in 2013, and in Japan as early as 2012. It was a series that hadn't been totally exploited in my view, and Animal Crossing Wii U would certainly have shifted both software and hardware this holiday season. Instead, 2 spin-offs release in the holiday season and now the series does feel kind of stale. 6) I'm only going by what Miyamoto and others have said in terms of the development time. At worst, the game should have been in development for 18 months by now. Again, I don't disagree that it needed to be delayed, honestly probably for longer than it was. However, the problem is Nintendo's total inability to make quality games to a deadline. Look, I get that every company has delays from time to time. But Nintendo have a history of delays, and so it continues. You might say that Nintendo's errors are exposed more because of the lack of third parties on their console. You'd be right, but Nintendo should realise that. They should have seen that delaying both Star Fox and Zelda from this holiday line-up was totally unacceptable and allocated the man-power, particularly to Star Fox, to stop that from happening. Oh, and as for "no real gamer" caring about smartphone games, firstly I'm fed up of this elitist nonsense, second I care about Nintendo's smartphone offerings in the sense that I want Nintendo to improve and expand their brand, and nailing mobile gaming would help them do that. |
Whats one of the biggest differences between Nintendo games and all other games on market!? Almost every Nintendo game are still very polished and bug free on launch. Nintendo also could have less delays but that means less polishnes and bugs in Nintendo games.
