They specifically said their first mobile game will be released this year. But nowadays video games release dates means nothing. Like I said, I don't think the delay is a bad thing, I think it is actually better since this game and the new account system and everything else is the start of a new era for Nintendo, and I think they need to close that mess they have with the WiiU/3DS first. But they should have figured this out long ago. I'm sorry but it's been a few years that Nintendo is making things up as it goes. They had so many games delayed these last years, so many missed opportunities, so many mistakes. And they keep doing it, Starfox and Zelda have been delayed, the marketing for Mario Tennis and Xenoblade have been all but nonexistent. It's pretty much clear they are dumping everything this christmas to prepare 2016 with the NX, DeNA, the new accounts and everything else. |
I agree. This isn't a first time thing. For many here to accept that they couldn't put together an account system on time, so that makes it OK that the games are not released is just sad. The OP made it clear, it's not just one thing that is a problem. It's clear Nintendo is a mess.
Of course, this could all be part of a plan to make a monster splash of relaesing all of the platforms at the same time or similar time next year. They may have planned this all along but just wanted to keep some form of relevence this year by announcing things. I felt that Sony did the same thing with a few of its games. They probably knew that they weren't going to be ready this fall but talked them up to keep the PS community happy. I think that all companies do this with products.
It is near the end of the end....
