Nintendo can't even release a mobile game on time

Well they shouldnt... They should give a programmer something to work on. Tell them to get it done by a certain time and if the programmer is not capable of doing it they should fire him and find somebody who is. Simple as that.

Do you realise not delaying games and only chasing deadlines would make that almost all games would be much more broken and filled with bugs than they are today!? Do you really want games like that or possible delay!?

Whole gaming industry works like that, but Nintendo really gives shit about release dates, if they think game isn't finished they will delayed with any problem, they will not try to rush it. There is good reason why Nintendo games are still very polished and almost bug free.
