Emulation is best on the PC, but still, pirating Xbox360 games is best on a modded 360, can't be used as a + for a system imo when you're breaking the law to do it, just my opinion. But yeah agree PC emulators are great.

I honestly doubt that its hard to copy the AI nor is it a big issue for the millions of players who are playing in different private servers for different MMOs.

Mainly the reasons why people play on private servers is so they dont have to go through grinding as much since rates are increased and because they dont have to pay a subscription.

The main downside to private servers I would say isnt the AI but the fact how often servers update to more recent updates and also stability along with longetivity - playing RO for years has taught me that servers dont last long at least the recent ones but the ones I've joined years ago are still open somehow lol.

Legit if you check for "blizzlike AI servers" on google I think the most up to date version of it is around Wrath of the Lich king, which is 3 expansions of content ago and like you said those private servers don't last forever, unlike the real servers which have a bit more of a duty to mind your data.

Definitely not the same game experience imo, I mean... it is a free way to play but still not the same by a long shot.
