I love the movies, Ghost in the shell and Innocence are both incredible. I have the first one on Laserdisc and the remaster and Innocence on blu-ray. The visual detail in Innocence is a class apart. I can't imagine how live action can come close to what's already there.
I did not like Snow White and the huntsman. However Scarlet Johansson was great in Under the skin, so that might not be a bad fit.
