Other M is a good game, but not a good "Metroid" game. It tried a different formula and I enjoyed it for what it was, but definitely had some negative points like:

-Very linear
-95% of hidden items are missiles
-Lack of music

But I enjoyed the story and the gameplay so I still recommend it.

The music, outside of the Ridley theme and the main one in the title screen (which is the actual Metroid theme), is very dissapointing. And yes, it's very linear.

But I agree that's it's a good game and I'd love to see a new game with the same gameplay, maybe some minor tweaks, but in general it feels good.
