It's one of the best games I ever played, but 2 and 3 are on par, maybe 2 even better. And glad you are playing Other M, after it I recommend you try to get Super Metroid as it is the prequel to Other M. All of this 5 games are amazing to me and the Metroid franchise is so good that it's almost on top for me (Zelda is #1 still, but not confident on the future).
