Pokemon is kiddy. Say whatever you want, but the amount of 20 somethings that would actually buy a home console for Pokemon is few and far between. You guys represent the vocal minority.

Nintendo's next console much appeal to a wider audience than the one they already have, which is, the Pokemon audience.

Actually the biggest problem Pokemon (games) has, is that the vast majority of it's audience is 20 somethings. But you're damn right about the need for Pokemon to appeal to a wider audience - if it doesn't capture the sub-15 year olds, the franchise is going to be niche in a decade.

The anime is what does that part.

I know. That's why I said "games". It really doesn't help much if kids watch the Pokemon anime and play Growtopia and Minecraft. However, Pokemon Rumble and the likes are much more accessible than the main Pokemon games (that are huge turnoffs for many due to being too complex).

Too complex, yeah right. If Pokemon is too complex. Than Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy would of had the same problem, in the past. The problem really is if kids even pay attetion to the games/show in the first place. There's more distracting options to todays kids than 20 years ago. When I got Pokemon Red. I had nothing else that would work outside and fit inside my pocket. You either had a Gameboy, or a Gamegear. Now you have your bedroom.
