You are still ignoring the fact, that there are Samsung models with great battery life and resistance against water, dust, salt, vibration/shock and other influences.

Samsung phone <> Samsung phone, iPhone <> iPhone, Sony phone <> Sony phone

Some Samsung phones have good battery life, some Samsung phones have bad battery life. Some iPhones have good battery life, some iPhones have bad battery life. Some Sony phones have good battery life, some Sony phones have bad battery life. Some are waterproof, some are not.

The best consulting of a customer would be giving him several options fitting his requirement, not only 1 model/brand.
