So, as you called yourself in the op, you're a major sony fan, and when the customer asks, which isnbetter, iPhone or Galaxy phone, you let the Sony fan in you try to push a Sony phone down his throat, and when he wasn't interested, because, well, he never asked for a Sony phone, you got pissed and found the customer to be so annoying? Hmm, yeah, the customer was the annoying one, you're right.

Finally a sane comment. Everyone here is acting like the customer commited a crime when actually the op is just annoyed that the guy rejected his favorite brand.

I see you guys don't need to work with direct contact with customers... Just because a customer "knows" what he wants does not mean it's what he needs or should buy. There are other issues to consider aswell, like warranty issues and will he/she be happy and return for further purchases etc.

Looking at the customer's criteria, last thing he should get is an Iphone; it's damn expensive, Apple has maybe the shittiest warranty ever, and if it gets wet, it's going to break anyway. Maybe the Sony phone or cheapest Samsung you could find (don't lose much money when it breaks) would've been the best options.
