NX might have a chance

But that means they have to compete with Playstation and that's a damn hard fight besides Japan. Nintendo needs to do at what it was best. Being different with a cheap console without multimedia BS and produce a shitload of awesome exclusive games and make sure some third party titles release on the NX to fill the gaps.

 

The NX doesn't have to become a gamer's only console but should have enough support (a big title every month) to be that console. Besides that Nintendo should widen their genres we only want so much 2d platformers. Give us a pokemon rpg with an epic story line. A movie like game etc.

Thats actually something that keeps the pokemon series a little stale, the lack of a true story, its been the same since the original y/b/r. It also dosent have to be a the last of us level of story, it just has to have something. they have a series, so using assets from that should be easy for game freak.
