Not sure if it has been mentioned before in any other thread but how about Xenosaga? I understand alot of people were turned off by it but I feel in terms of story and writing, it was very well done.
I have a few others I would put in there as well but way too many games here at my house for me to even begin.
I see a few people suggested Thousand Year Door. I have played SPM and absolutely hated it, played Paper Mario and thought it was alright... LOVED SMRPG. How is TYD though? Serious storytelling or more humor?
