Yes that's what is so hard for you to understand.
Characters do not exclusively fit their roles.
But if you find out that a character matches their role, then it's possible that someone can use that information for scum usage. Yes it isn't directly saying who has what role, but like you said, we have no idea what the extent of sums abilities are.
It's possible they can read names, or maybe they know names already.
You say it's innocent and doesn't tell anything, but how am I supposed to know that. I think you're scum! Literally anything you ask warrants extreme suspicion.

Because we don't even need other players to give that info. All we have to do is look at the dead players to know that your theory that character matches roles isn't foolproof. It doesn't work. Don't you think, maybe, that if I was scum, I might have a better role laid that actually matches my character? You know, just to cover all my bases? What's funny about you is that you say I'm an expert but you calling me out on things noobs would do. If I were making up my role, I would make sure there could be no question whatsoever, even if not all characters matched up.

And no ocelot is nothing like a role cop. That's a stretch and a half.
