This is interesting. If the NX comes in considerably more powerful that PS4, and that's a big if you might see a situation where Nintendo has clearly higher spec hardware at a time when Sony and Microsoft are less than 3 years into a console cycle. Now I know the last gen of consoles ran longer than usual (7-8 years) but Sony and Microsoft would still be at least 2 years off another console when NX is released, maybe even 3-4 years.
If this happened and Nintendo made some killer games coupled with 3rd party support then Nintendo might see a change in their fortunes.
