I do agree with his comment on filler. Most of Nintendo's upcoming 3DS and some Wii U games (but mostly 3DS) are just mods of previous 3DS games. OOT and Majora, Mario Luigi Dream Team and Paper Jam, Animal Crossing New Leaf and Home Designer, Zelda ALBW and Triforce Heroes...man those four hit hard. That just screams to me that Nintendo is making this as "filler" so they can have good games on NX without leaving 3DS and Wii U in the cold.
What Nintendo faces is Software shortages. That's what's killing the Wii U along with its stupid name and lackluster specs. (I still love Wii U guys :D) What will bring NX higher than Gamecube or Wii U or even Wii is abundance of software. If NX bridges the gap between Nintendo's handheld and console markets, they won't face software shortages this bad. If NX is an easy porting machine, its chances of success are even greater.
Something else I would like to mention is the price issue. If NX were to release at $300 or $350 I think that would be a great price if the consoles are sold together ( assuming that NX is hh and console). If the same medium containing the same software can be played on both consoles albeit with differing graphical capabilities, NX could be the console that gets Nintendo back in the forefront of gaming. It's really exciting to see what NX will be. If it ends up being a load of crap mobile machine...God help you Nintendo.
