I am deciding, this time, not to read what everyone has to say since it's mostly the same thing over and over. Maybe someone has already said this, but censorship exists for several reasons. One of the obvious ones are the legal ones. Typically those have to do with ethics enforced by a government body, and that isn't something you can change very easily. The one talked about here, though, is a business decision. Why it exists is to make it more marketable and/or get around an ESRB rating change. It's not as stupid as you guys think it is. The decisions aren't made blindly.

edit: Not to say I agree with the censorship, but that you need to consider the actual reasons before just complaining about it and expecting it to change.
