 -That has everything to do with it being on PC though.  PC has MMORPGs, MOBAs, RTS games, etc.  All games that are designed to eat away at your time, with certain instances where matches can last almost a full day.  There's also many examples of games on PC that charge monthly subscriptions.

PC has also a lot of games of every other genre you can think of. There are thousands of short games or games with a medium play time. Over 99% of the PC games don't have a subscription model.

You know that you aren't forced on PC to play time consuming MMOs with a monthly subscription, do you? Just pick the games of the huge selection that are best suited to you and your game preferences.
