Sorry, I have to disagree here. I prefer my PS4 to my Wii U. However I buy Nintendo consoles every gen, because I love their games. Zelda is my favourite franchise. I think there are one or two Zelda games I have't played yet. The fact that I like my PS4 more, does not mean I'm not a Nintendo fan.

I didn't not say that...I just put my point of view,if someone plays nintendo games it automatically means that he is a fan of Nintendo...?By the way,Fan comes from fanatic ,fanatics usually are intent to one specific thing...edit:Perhaps,not.

Again,I'm not implying by my post that someone who has nintendo consoles and other antagonistic consoles, and prefers most that console over Nintendo's,can't be a Nintendo fan,(I consider that here the question is the scale not if you're fan or not,in my opinion the title's wording is misguided,as the opposite of true is fake...)

I'm saying that for me that guy is a Nintendo gamer/admirer instead of fan..My brother loves and plays Nintendo games, but he prefer sony consoles and by extend  its games so he is a sony  fan and he doesn't identify himself as Nintendo fan...

Would you fight with a sony fan, defending Nintendo? :P

According to Cambridge Dictionary :

Fan: someone who admires and supports a person, sport, sportsteam

Fanatic: a person who is extremely interested in something, to a degree that some people find unreasonable

You're a fan or you aren't. That has nothing to do with fanaticism.  Not all Nintendo fans consider themselves to be Nintendo fanboys.

I have already answered this,I won't repeat myself/expatiate!

Okay...It seems like that you confuted an argument of mine, maybe a bad one...Which was the least important though,I have put others...

That was an innuendo?

Well being fanboy of a company it's not the best thing but not bad,it's acceptable,of course when is not accompanied by hatred for other companies...
