Ok, so F-Zero GX was Sega developed game, in a similar fashion that Mario Party is Hudson developed. Sega is great at making arcade type of racing games, which has the "arcade feeling" in it's gameplay. F-Zero has had its special kind of feeling in its gameplay, like Mario Kart or Wave Race. Now, that Sega was the developer, they put their own "touch" into the gameplay, which tend to be the "arcade" gameplay. I hope that cleared things up.
