That's not happening. The reason they did that with the Wii conflict with what they're doing with the NX. It's strong enough to play DQXI, a PS4 game. That's how.

there is no commitment that any DQXI game is coming to NX and even less that any specific version is.  don't fool yourself.  ..or worse yet,. embarrass yourself.  nintendo doesn't want to be cutting edge technology, they want to be "good enough".

DQXI is confirmed for NX and will likely be the PS4 version. The handheld Nintendo userbase will have the 3DS while the few Nintendo fellows that loves to play on homeconsoles will play on NX the PS4 version. Don't fool ourselves, 3DS version will destroy the homeconsole version in sales, so no that's not the version that needs more sales.

And Nintendo doesn't need a lot of power. They are trying to get back the users that play mobiles games and most of Nintendo fans are happy with graphics at the level of Star Fox Zero.
