Now If Nintendo released dev kits in 2016 I'd be a little more optimistic, but 2015...I suppose they could give powerful 28nm kits, within the ballpark of the final product locked down in the much more power efficient 14/16nm... but I have my doubts lol Nintendo never had a console that consumed power over 50w. |
Even with power with 50W Nintendo can make pretty strong hardware in 2016, remember Wii U launch i 2012. and has only 30W power consumption with 64nm.
