I'm not sure Netflix exclusiveness is great idea, but I'm all for them making movies and animated series with their IPs.
Metroid could be pretty big Hollywood level blockbuster, if they're willing to invest properly (I'm talking Angelina Jolie and Tomb Raider level here).
Not sure about Zelda tbh, Sword & Sorcery setting never really had that much of a big mass appeal in films, there's only few movies that actually made it (Conan, Willow, Dragonheart, LoTR/Hobbit (thanks to books)...am I missing something?), then again it could surprise, but if nothing else it could really raise awareness if done right.
As for Mario - I think Nintendo is loosing ground with kids and everything from animated shows, mobile games to CCGs would be smart, and Mario & Co. should be good choice IMO.
