Well, I'm not too familiar with Hammerhead Bridge, so when I first had to play it I found myself having a really hard time adjusting to it. I had to play it several times during a splatfest and most of the time I would end up losing, getting attacked from above. It left me with a bad taste, so right now I don't really like it.
As for Bluefin, I often felt I was on a losing side, having all my efforts be lost so quickly once I cover one side of the center and having to be jumping between both often. Having to travel back and forth, I found it annoying. I just found it frustrating how often I feel I am doing good for my team only to look at the screen and see the over side covered along with my home base.

Hey, it's not the map's fault your teammates suck. :L

Haha, yeah, def true. Maybe those are just my unlucky maps. I do sort of feel Hammerhead doesn't fit well with my weapon and style.

Personally my issue with Hammerhead is that it is a sort of corridor stage with a bunch of obstacles that you can't actually swim over to progress or ink. Unlike similar corridor stages with obstacles like Arrowan Mall or Walleye Warehouse or even Port Mackerel, Hammerhead seems to try to do too much and not have enough open spaces where multiple people can really be able to go all out in.

Yeah, that's true. I dislike the bridges that connect from one side to the other, most because it's a clear bridge. I feel very uncomfortable if I don't have a place to hide in, and I would often get hit from above when I can't fight back. It really works against me.
