You have to realise that most of the staff that worked on Metroid Prime are no longer with Retro Studios. The current Retro Studios has little to no experience with Metroid games, so it's not logical to expect them working on a Metroid game. They're talented, that's for sure and I'd love to see what their next game is, but I don't think that a Metroid Prime game is likely. I think Miyamoto (or Reggie, can't remember) even said once that the team at Retro Studios is now big enough that they can handle two projects at once, so who knows what they're up to. More on Metroid Prime, Kensuke Tanabe, the producer of the Metroid Prime series, said that even if they were to start this year working on a Metroid Prime game, it would take them at least three years to complete. He hasn't been able to gather a team within Nintendo big enough to tackle a big game like Metroid Prime, which suggests that Retro Studios wasn't under consideration for Metroid Prime 4, or they simply weren't available, who knows? There's a small chance that Sakamoto, the producer of the main Metroid games, has been working on something, but there's no evidence to support that. Anyway, I expect something new from Retro Studios, don't think it's another DK and I'm sure it's not Metroid.
