Maybe the game was supposed to be announced sooner but after Iwata's passing they decided to postpone the announcement? I think this explanation would be more likely: The game was scheduled for late 2015 but with Zelda U being ported to NX they decided to release TPHD in mid 2016 to give the Wii U one exclusive Zelda game next year. Well, or it's all just speculation and the rumors about it being just a Wii Virtual Console release are true. |
Well wouldnt make sense to release zelda twhd and zelda u both in 2016 in my opinion.
Zelda U is 100% still coming to wii u and MAYBE beeing ported to NX.
Mabye twilight princess HD will be released this year? Keep in mind Zombi just got announced like 2 weeks before release. Maybe nintendo wants to surprise us or anything. It wouldnt make much sense though, their e3 appearance wouldnt looks as bad if they would have revealed twilight princess hd port^^
