How many people would you say are running around in that level at any given moment? I'd say at least 30.
Btw, at around the 6:05-6:10 mark in this video an SCEE rep says:
We have some really big battles which we're going to be showing not long from now.
In that video they also show the awesome intro to the demo, though the quality is horrible.
