Why the hype?
It's like WiiFit. For each, the relatively meager starting product will lead way to potentially great things. For WiiFit... I doubt the initial product (the software) will be that good. However, developers will take what nintendo created and hopefully use it to make some great games. For LittleBigPlanet, there will be an initial set of levels and tools provided which in themselves will be a good starting point but it's quality will only be realized through quality user created content.
