1. Big L - Raw, witty, smooth flow, gritty, tight delivery, mainstream sound.
2. Rakim - Best flow I've heard, complex, ahead of his time, the teacher (sorry KRS).
3. Nas - Illmatic was the first album that made me appreciate lyricism. Conscious & OG.
4. Big Pun - Flow is ill as fuck, complex, delivery, got the mainstream sound & that hardcore style.
5. Kendrick Lamar - Conscious rapper, great story teller, versatile flow (how many rappers today can spit on the "Catch Me" instrumental?) I vibed to all of his work so far.
This is my personal opinion, got a lot of respect for guys like Pac, BIG, GZA, Ice Cube, Jay Electronica, Lupe Fiasco, Canibus (early 00's), Eminem, too many to name lol.
