America isn't like other countries. We, for whatever reason, don't hold "culture" as something that is important. I mean, I'm 36 years old and in the short time between say... 1990 and now? I've seen Halloween go from something that is cherished and celebrated to something that just gets in the way of Christmas. That's only 25 years too.
