I will admit it's a controversial game for both fan bases since it's basically a brand new IP that's not quite like FE or SMT. I also agree it's dissapointing there are basically no FE elements in the game other than characters and the weapon triangle being used.
I guess I was just trying to say it is what it is at this point love it or hate it. When I saw the first trailer last year I was not feeling it at all, so I decided to play SMT IV to get a better idea of what gameplay might be like and I ended up loving it so I'm still giving SMTxFE a chance.
Hey at least we have a new classic Fire Emblem game coming out soon and it's looking freaking amazing, gotta look on the bright side.
