Yes, it's just as stupid. People will say that Halo did so well because it was bundled, but the only reason they bought the Halo bundle is because they wanted Halo. It's as much a sale of the game as it is a sale of the console. in fact I'd say it's more significant a sale of the game because people actually bought the console to go with it. The argument changes when a game is given away for free, such as TLOUR or Titanfall. Then you can't really see that as a sale of the game because, let's face it, even if the free game was only Tony Hawkes people would choose that option over a console without a game at all. The argument also changes when a bundle comes with multiple games added. If Sony added The Nathan Drake Collection to the TLOUR bundle then you'd have to accept it's likely that people bought the bundle for TLOUR more than Nathan Drake. Not in every case but at least there's a debate to be had.
