Just because we can't always understand why MS or Sony do something, doesn't make them dumbasses. At least you understand what I mean now though ;)
Sony could easily lose that bundled game and release a standalone PS4 for $300 because they wouldn't lose much at all. They could even throw in a game like TLOU or Driveclub because they've made their money on TLOU and have been bundling it for free for a while, and they've already said that Driveclub will be a service so the more people who have the game the more Sony make from future DLC.
The PS5 Exists.
