I know I can play the demo when it comes out anyway, since I have a lot of free space, but I want to see why.

Poor acting, poor story, repetitive mechanics, poor VA (almost certain to be worse on US version), poor controls combined with repetitive "waggle the analog to get away!", sub par graphics, slow plot, stiff characters with no real interesting drive to keep playing.

 

I say this having bought the game day 1 on its Japanese release.

For a moment I thought you were describing Resident Evil 1

Or any other Fatal Frame.
