360 UK installed base of consoles by June 27, 2009: 3.9m
The 360 user base was bigger... twice the Xbone user base today.
Forza 2 launched in 2007 with lower userbase but I don't have Forza 2 numbers but looks like it did really great too:
"‘Forza Motorsport 2’ has an excellent launch week, becoming the 3rd fastest selling Xbox 360 title ever (behind ‘Gears of War’ and ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 6’) as well as the 4th fastest across any format so far this year (behind ‘World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade’, ‘Final Fantasy XII’ and ‘Resistance: Fall of Man’)."
