I'm with you on this one, maybe that's why I prefer psychological terror and instigating thrillers. These may not make you scream, but they fuck up your mind and blow your mind sometimes. Have you ever tried Suspiria and Rosemary's baby? I'd recomend both, but keep in mind that they're both older movies and won't make you "scared" in the traditional way scare-jumps try to. :P
