I reckon it's SOny themselves that have decided to do that. They're probably confident that the Star Wars bundle will do very well anyway. Perhaps it will get a price drop nearer the release.

Good point. Perhaps a black Friday price promotion is coming for that bundle where an extra $30 or more will be knocked off and a year of plus tthrown in.
