They won't, but not out of altruism. If they're really going after the more casual 'Puzzles & Dragons' market then it would be a blunder to add an online fee. Core gamers who pay for their own hobbies would pay it, which is why it works on Xbox and Playstation, but every other demographic would balk. They'd do it if they could but it would likely be a bad move for them.
