It should remember what made the series great, instead of copying the ubisoft open world formula of the last decade.
It sould have an well designed world that unfolds slowly through progressing dungeons and gaining items/weapons and makes clever use of the items to reveal secrets.
It should have a limited amount of weapons/items that feel unique and can be upgraded 1-3 times in the game instead of throwing 10000 copy paste weapons at the player like modern rpgs do.
It should have a clever dungeon design where you feel the progression like in the souls games or the older Zelda games. Same for the hopefully creative and challenging Bossfights. (no more first encounter victorys)
It should have riddles that deserve the name.
Please no random side quests, Majoras Mask showed how to make good sidequests and secrets. Espeacially if you actually care for the characters.
