Nothing will top the original for me. The experience was mind-blowing. The exploration, the gadgets, the tight controls, and great music and atmosphere. OoT is second, with it being special in a different way. An amazing shift for the whole industry into 3D with great execution. ALttP would be next, with much of the charm of the original but with better graphics but a slightly less dangerous feel. A little bubbly for my taste. Then MM which is so different and slick and delightfully creepy. WWHD rounds out my top-5. Like MM it feels a bit like a side-story and it is the first Zelda to add annoying filler (Triforce Quest and other treasure hunting) that would be repeated and worse in TP and SS. But it does have a unique charm and magical feel. Nice pace to the action, too, and a pleasant story. The rest of the titles are nice and some offer some outstanding qualities but mixed with problematic drawbacks.
